This lesson, we learned about the features of an expository essay as well as how the essay should be structured.
Things to take note of when writing:
Vary examples, they can be general or specific, a definition or an analogy.
Vary sentence pattern and length when writing.
The explanation should be as detailed as possible and answer "why" and "so what" questions.
The evidence must be credible, accurate and current. Personal observations or anecdotes are not allowed.
