What I did : I looked up for new words to improve my vocabulary and gain more knowledge of words.
What I Learned :
Abject: Means absolutely miserable, the most unfortunate, with utter humiliation.
Maelstrom: A maelstrom is a powerful whirlpool. A luckless ship might go down in one, conflicting ocean currents might cause one. You hear it more often metaphorically, to describe disasters where many competing forces are at play.
Modicum: To describe a small amount of something.
Paucity: Means specifically "not enough" or "too little."
